Hand Carved Appalachian Wizard Staff
Each wizard staff is handmade by the Archmagus of the Gang himself.
The process begins with selecting a birch tree from the Appalachian hills. The tree is then felled with a hatchet, and carried back to the Archmagus's lair, and laid out so the wood can properly dry and cure. After drying, the bark is shaved off by hand, using a knife. Once the bark is removed, tribal woodcarving methods are used to shape the tree down until it is light enough to be carried, and slim enough to comfortably grip for long periods of time. Final shaping is then done by hand, using sandpaper, ensuring a smooth finish. Each staff is given a binding of cotton for both for decoration, and to serve as an alternate hand grip. The bottom end of each staff is honed down to resemble a knapped flint arrow tip, to anchor oneself when hiking unstable ground, and steep inclines.
ADVISEMENT: Each staff is made to order, so availability may be limited depending on weather conditions, availability of suitable trees, and other unforeseeable conditions. The price of shipping is included in the price of item!
